Keeping it Seasonal

Using flowers and plants that are in season is at the heart of all my designs. It follows that I have carefully chosen this years Mother’s Day florals to represent flowers that grow naturally around this time year. As usual, I proudly support British Flower Farmers. Importantly, buying as much home and locally grown flowers and foliages as I can.

 

 

Hampshire Mother’s Day Flowers and Sustainable Origins

Each bouquet will be made up of seasonal blooms and the collection will include best quality Lincolnshire grown tulips. Continuing with Isle-of-Scilly grown scented Narcissi that will be sent to the mainland with the postal transport. Additionally,  Cornish grown snowdrops will be harvested from the West-Country. Non-English flowers will have been grown in Holland, France, Italy and Spain. Because these countries are all northern hemisphere and as such, European countries they count as local to the UK.

 

Mother’s Day Bouquet Presentation

The bouquets are all gift-wrapped in coloured paper and finished with a complimentary coloured ribbon. Following on, all of the bouquets are arranged in a glass vase and ready to display. But, when the bouquet flowers have finished, the glass vase is reusable or it can be recycled. Also, the paper gift-wrapping can be recycled or composted too.
